Post 3: The eart from above

Yan Arthus-Bertrand show his three important projects: "The earth from Above", "6 billion others" and "Home".

In the first project, he about some problems in the world for example: poverty in Africa and deforestation.

In the web project called "6 billion others", many people are interviewed about their life. There are people with problems about their families and other persons have problems with the poverty

In the film called "Home", Arthus-Bertrand wants to say us that the future of our planet depends of the humans. The earth is vulnerable, the water and energy can decline if we don't do good use of these.

I think the earth is a planet for live happy and we should be interested in care the resources of our planet and search solutions for decline the poverty in the world.

If we don’t care the earth, we are destroying ourselves.

Post 2: Writing about statistics

I´m from Peru. My country is in South America. It is bordered in the north by Ecuador and Colombia, in the east by Brazil, in the southeast by Bolivia, in the south by Chile, and in the west by the Pacific Ocean.

The population in my country increased in the last years. The number of people in Peru was 7,023,111 in 1940, but it is 30,814,175 now.

The highest increase of population registered in Peru was between 1961 and 1972 because the demographic growth rate was 2.8%. Since 1972, the percent of increase of population per year in Peru started to decline. 

Peru has 24 regions and one province. The 61.4 % of Peruvian people lives in seven regions in my country: Lima, Piura, La Libertad, Cajamarca, Puno, Junín and Cusco. Lima is the most populous region in Peru with 9,541,000 people.

In Peru, there is a woman for each man. The Instituto Nacional de Estadistica e Informática says the percent of women in Peru is 49.4% currently.

The number of young people in Peru with an age between 15 and 29 years old is increasing fast. It was 7,421,162 in 2000, and 8,283,182 in 2013. Today, about the 27.2% of Peruvian population are young people.

Peru is the 42nd populous country in the world and China is the world's most populous country with a population of over 1.35 billion. Brazil is the most populous country in Latin America while Peru is the fifth.

The experts expect that Peru will have a population of 33,149,000 in 2021 and 8,512,764 will be the number of people with an age between 15 and 29 in that year.

Post 1: A self introduction.

My name is Jesus Bravo. I was born in Chiclayo, Peru in 1987, but I lived many years with my parents and brothers in Ferreñafe city near to Chiclayo. I started elementary school when I was 5 years old and I finished my high school education in 2003.

I studied Electronic Engineering at "Pedro Ruiz Gallo" University in Lambayeque, Peru and I got the bachelor's degree in 2010. Then I moved to Lima city, where I obtained my first job.

When I started to work, I traveled to some cities in my country, for example: Ica, Puerto Maldonado, Puno and Oxapampa where I knew some tourist places.

I returned to Chiclayo city in 2012 and I became an Engineer in that year. 

Later I applied for a scholarship to study a Master in Engineering of communications networks at University of Chile and I obtained this. Then I quit my job in Peru and traveled to Chile

Now, I'm happy because I'm studying for a master and I like to live in Santiago. I prefer to study but I also like to relax so I listen to music and write some poems in free time.
